Well, those needles have been pumping out the wares. Knitted the kids each a pair of felted elf shoes (first time felting, first footware pieces). I tried to use up some of my old stashes and made Sophia a pink swizzle top hat. Kept running out of yarn on that, hence the top color changes. Still think it is cute. Knit a pair of snowman mittens for Dylan. Transposed a pattern from another pair found off ravelry to the Canadiana mitten pattern. These mittens were a bit small for the snowman to show up very well. I think one size bigger would be much better. I made the kids' school director a pair of sock slippers - first time making that kind of footware. I like the heal instructions better than the elf boot - not liking the wrap & turn method. too loose and made it look like there were holes.
