Sophia

Sophia is growing fast.  Just the other day she complained of a sore tooth in the back.  First thought was Oh No!  Another cavity?!  Then while brushing her teeth, something looked odd.  Then I realized she had an extra tooth on one side!  Phew and WOW!

Then today, she popped up after dinner and went downstairs.  she reemerged after a short while and started tidying the shoes on the stair landing near the back door.  Then she cleaned the toys up in the living room.  After all this she told me she cleaned up the basement.  I was impressed to hear it, even MORE impressed when I saw her work.  The basement looked GREAT!

We recently spent part of the day taking the ferry to Boston with some friends and I was so pleased that S&D were the only two kids NOT to melt down at any point during the adventure.  They really are great kids :)

Wayne Maine summer vacation week

We spent the last week of July up in Maine at Ethan's mom's house.  She and Tommy have a house on Lake Androscoggin and we had fun with the boat on the lake and the kids enjoyed swimming and practicing their swim lesson techniques.  Here are some pics.
