One of my favorite things about living in New England is apple picking in the fall. Never new much about this before living here and even until the kids were born, this season just passed. After having the kids, a whole new world was opened to me and this is one of those things. I LOVE the taste of an apple picked fresh off the tree. So crsip, juicy and sweet. MUCH different from those you buy in the store. The weather is FANTASTIC this Columbus Day/ Thanksgiving day weekend. In the 80's, sunny... Perfect for picking apples. So that is what we did.
