The day the kids decided playing with the hose was fun...

So, this didn't happen on any one of the hot days we have had this summer. Nope. It was end of August and I had come home after grocery shopping and was filling the "pool" while putting the food away. I let Dylan stay out there as he was having fun. I looked in on him every minute and saw him with the hose, completely drenching himself. He was laughing, not screaming as per normal, as the hose would turn on himself. Later in the afternoon around 4pm when the sun was waning and the temps falling, Sophia decided the hose could be fun too. I was watering the few plants that are still growing and Sophia decided to take over. She then turned the hose on HERself. First for some sips and then after requesting I take off her shirt, she turned it onto her tummy. Hmmmm, cold hose water on a cool day - Fun. Warm water on a hot day - TERRIBLE form of TORTURE.
Between the two, I have one fully dressed kid.
We will not have to pay for a seat for Sophia anymore - we will just tell them she is part of our carry-on luggage.
Another new arrival today: Fisher Price "potty-on-the-go". So excited to have this. I will be able to leave the house with Sophia with a little less fear these days.
