So, last night I began to become concerned about the cellulitis ankle again. The red "sock" was returning around my ankle. This time the surface of the skin wasn't as sore as the bones. The "getting sorer" feeling progressed rapidly over night. And now this morning I am in incredible pain.
The good and the bad.
Bad news is that we were (are?) planning on driving up to Ottawa for a wedding today. Now I am not sure what is going to be going on with this trip. At best we will go and I will sit through everything and be in a lot of pain. The bad is I am here with possible intravenous antibiotics.
Good news is that Bob and Jackie were planning on coming anyway today to look after the kids for the weekend and are able to get here early this morning so that I can go to a doctor without the kids.
This bottom line is that this just plain sucks.
